Born from an initial discussion with a film director, Laudico indicated an interest in exploring the possibility of studying cinematography. She was given the advice to first become a photographer. It was in the late 1990s when she first purchased a 2 mega pixel point-and-shoot camera. It only had an on and off button and a button to turn off the flash. It did not even zoom. With this camera Laudico over the course of 10years honed what she later realized was her photographer’s eye.
Since then, Laudico has enjoyed the expression of photography in publications and exhibitions. She still looks forward to becoming a cinematographer when she grows up.
