Up above Shanghai’s charming French Concession area, and with views out over the tops of the trees, is Shui Urban Spa. A study in white, with water features and waves, the interior of this Art Deco building is a world away from the city outside. Treatments use Dermalogica products and include their signature Shui Deep Relaxation Massage and Shui Essential Facial, which starts with a back massage. Full of surprises, the spa also has a charming Moroccan-style outdoor terrace, for relaxing post treatment.
